Care & Use

• Before using, remove all packaging and labels before lighting. Trim wick to ¼” before lighting.
• Always trim wick before each use to avoid a smoky burn.
• As the candle burns down, gently fold the edges inward toward the center, allowing the maximum melting of all wax.
• Keep away from direct sunlight or heat sources.

Storage

• Store candles in a cool dry area.
• Candle tapers should be stored flat in a box or drawer to prevent warping.
• Use an old nylon stocking to clean and polish candles.

Caution

• Extinguish candle and trim wick if smoke is observed.
• Tealight candle should fit snugly into holder. Candles that fit loosely or even too tightly can tip over or move within the holder.
• Keep wax pool free of debris such as matches and trimmed wicks that can ignite.
• Keep candles away from drapes, bed linens or other flammable materials.
• Never leave a burning candle unattended or fall asleep during use.
• Always use a proper candle holder when burning candles.
• Keep away from drafts or open windows.
• Never let a candle burn to less than 1 inch except tealights in aluminum containers.
• Keep away from children and/or pets.

Tips

• To minimize smoke and prevent wax spills use a candle snuffer to extinguish flame.
• Refrigerate or freeze smaller candles and tapers before using. The cool wax will burn slower and longer.
• Even candles that are “dripless” will drip if placed near doors, fans, air vents or open windows.
